Call to Arms: Defend the Temple Now Live

Did you miss our preview of the next Call to Arms? In the upcoming Defend the Temple Skirmish Event you must defeat the undead horde and destroy the Deathshard Crystals to protect the temple of Kelemvor.

If you are new to Call to Arms skirmish events, these events are available for players of all levels (from 6-60)! Also, you are able to queue for these skirmishes at any time while the event is active. To learn more about these fun events, check out our Call to Arms trailer below!

If you and your party successfully defend the temple, you could be rewarded with amazing items, which include: the Moonshae Druid companion, unique dyes, Cruel enchantments, and of course Medallions of Battle. These medallions can be redeemed from the event vendor, in Protector’s Enclave, for unique weapon transmutes, Refiner’s Cache, and dyes.  Sword Coast Adventures will also feature a special dungeon to battle a Summon Bone Golem and Medallions of Battle might also drop from all challenges within it.

The Moonshae Druid Companion has initial power points in Power, Critical Strike, and Armor Penetration, along with two offense slots and one defense slot for Runestones. This companion also has a ring, waist and neck slot.

As a green quality companion, the Moonshae Druid has a max rank of 20, providing you with three skins from which to pick before upgrading the companion to unlock the fourth.

The Moonshae Druid has three powers and one active bonus:

Active Bonus

+220 Hit Points, +55 Recovery.

Call Lighting

8s Cooldown

Deals Lighting Damage

A Lighting storm strikes within 5’ of the target foe’s feet for a short duration, dealing area damage and stunning the target.

Fire Seed

1.5s Cooldown

Fire Damage

Throw a fire seed at the target, dealing impact damage and additional damage over time.

Electrified Area

Area damaged by Call Lighting increases by 5’ and daze cooldown reduced by 5 seconds. This power unlocks at companion rank 30.

Refiner's Cache - This cache contains one random enchantment or runestone between rank 2 to 4, possibly even a Brutal Enchantment, Cruel Enchantment, or Savage Enchantment.

And one of the following:

- Greater Mark of Potency

- Mark of Potency

- Lesser Marker Of Potency

- Flawless Sapphire

- Aquamarine

- Peridot

Weapon Transmutes - Your weapons could have the distinct look of the Deathknell.

Doomguide Dye Pack – Set of dyes used by the Doomoguide to show their dedication to Kelemvor.

Cruel Enchantment - You could also receive enchantments from rank 1 up to rank 5 as monster drops and from the reward chest.
